Surfshark’s Black Friday deal is already live on its own site, and the press reports that NordVPN’s has started too. AdGuard is running a Halloween sale instead. We found no Total Adblock sale on its public pages; offers behind signup or on other partner pages weren’t ruled out. Below is every offer we could check on 27 October, with what you pay now and what you pay when the plan renews. Black Friday itself is November 27, 2026.
Current Offers and Verification Gaps (27 October 2026)
The status column shows what each vendor calls its offer. Surfshark is the only one with a Black Friday label on its own site; the NordVPN row is press-reported. Prices are USD unless marked, and tax may be added at checkout.

Our AdGuard and Surfshark USD prices come from the vendors’ own pricing data, which we pulled from Malta, not a US checkout. So check the total on the checkout page before you pay. The AdGuard VPN euro prices are from the same Malta view, before VAT.
AdGuard: Halloween Sale Now, Black Friday Probably Later
AdGuard’s Halloween sale runs from October 26 to November 1. It isn’t a Black Friday sale, and AdGuard hasn’t announced one yet.
Watch the cutoff. The coupon ends at 21:00 UTC on November 1. US clocks fall back that morning, so that’s 4pm Eastern and 1pm Pacific.
Which AdGuard License to Buy
Personal covers 3 devices and costs $17.93 for the first year, down from $29.88. Family covers 9 devices for $39.53, down from $65.88. Both then renew automatically at the regular price.
Personal lifetime costs $55.99 during the sale. Three years on Personal’s annual plan would cost $77.69 before tax if both renewals stay at the $29.88 shown in the pricing data. On those figures, lifetime costs less over three years.
One quirk in the pricing data. The struck-through “previous” price for Family is $89.64, which is three Personal licenses, not Family’s own regular $65.88. If that’s the figure you see on screen, the saving looks bigger than it really is.
The paid license covers AdGuard’s apps; the browser extension is free. If you only browse in one desktop browser, the free extension further down may be enough. Refunds are available within 30 days by email to [email protected].
AdGuard VPN’s 2-year Halloween offer was €51.79 before VAT in the Malta view. Its pricing data lists €64.58 at renewal without saying whether that covers 1 or 2 years. We didn’t capture a USD price. The paid plan allows 10 devices at once. The 30-day refund window covers 1- and 2-year plans; monthly plans aren’t refundable.
AdGuard’s Past Black Friday Deals (for Reference)
These are past deals. Neither is available now.
- 2025 (past): posted November 24, with 50% off 1-year licenses and 45% off lifetime, running until December 5. It covered new purchases, upgrades and renewals.
- 2024 (past): posted November 25, with the same 50% and 45%, through December 6.
- AdGuard VPN (past): 85% off 2-year plans in both years.
Neither post listed dollar prices, only percentages.
When AdGuard’s 2026 Deal May Appear
AdGuard posted its Black Friday sale on the Monday or Wednesday of Black Friday week in 2023, 2024 and 2025. None of those three sales launched in October. With Black Friday on November 27, that pattern points to roughly November 23 to 25. Three years of dates make a pattern, not a promise.
So here’s the trade-off. Right now the discount is 40% on 1-year licenses, until November 1. In 2024 and 2025 the Black Friday discount was 50%, but nothing is announced for 2026 yet. On Personal 1-year, that gap is about $3.
Surfshark: The Black Friday Deal Is Already Live
Surfshark’s pricing page carries a “Black Friday deal” badge, and a site banner links to it. TechRadar reported the launch on October 12. No end date is shown.
Which Surfshark Plan to Buy
The 24-month plans include 3 extra months, so you get 27 months in total. Starter and One both cost $67.23 for those 27 months, and One+ costs $107.73. The 12-month plans also get 3 extra months, at $44.85 for Starter or One and $104.85 for One+. Monthly plans get no discount.
If you won’t use One’s extras, Starter is the better buy over time, because it renews for $20 a year less.
There’s a catch.
After the first term, the 12- and 24-month offers renew every 12 months. Starter renews at $79/year, One at $99/year and One+ at $119/year. Surfshark’s terms say displayed renewal prices may be A/B tested, so yours could differ. It emails you 30 days before renewal, except on 1-month plans.
Surfshark’s Past Black Friday Deals
- 2025 (past): Tom’s Guide reported an early deal on October 20, 2025, with Starter at $53.73, One at $59.13 and One+ at $113.13, all for 27 months.
- 2024 (past): Tech Advisor reported early deals on October 17, 2024, running until December 2, with Starter at $55.72 for 2 years plus 4 months.
This year’s entry price is higher. Starter on 27 months was $53.73 in 2025 reports and is $67.23 now, and TechRadar notes that both Surfshark and NordVPN raised prices in 2026.
Will Surfshark Get Cheaper Before November 27?
There’s no confirmed later price to compare. Tom’s Guide reported the same rate for One in October and on November 28, 2025. That doesn’t establish whether Surfshark will cut prices again in 2026.
NordVPN: Press-Reported Deal, Not Checked on NordVPN’s Site
TechRadar reported on October 22 that NordVPN had released its Black Friday deals. We couldn’t confirm that on NordVPN’s own site, because its pricing pages blocked our checks. The current offer prices below come from TechRadar. Historical figures come from the reports cited beside them.
Per TechRadar, Complete and Prime are down by $0.50 a month. Complete is $107.73 upfront for 27 months, equivalent to $3.99/mo. TechRadar also lists $89.85 for its 1-year offer. Prime is reported at $188.73 for the 2-year offer or $134.85 for the 1-year offer. Extra months on those other offers aren’t confirmed. TechRadar says there’s no deal on Basic, and other outlets reported different 2026 figures that we couldn’t read.
Check the live price on NordVPN’s site before you rely on any number here.
NordVPN renews automatically at its renewal price and says it will email you about changes. Its support pages don’t list the amounts, and we couldn’t open the renewal-pricing page. Refunds cover the first subscription only, and App Store purchases go through Apple.
NordVPN’s Past Black Friday Deals
- 2025 (past): live by October 16, 2025, per Tom’s Guide. Tom’s Guide later listed Basic at $80.73 for 27 months before tax and said the deal ran until December 10, 2025. It quoted 2025 renewals of $139.08 for Basic, $179.88 for Plus and $219.48 for Complete per 12 months.
- 2024 (past): live by October 17, 2024, from $2.99 a month, running until December 2, per Tech Advisor.
Those renewal figures are from 2025, and NordVPN raised prices in 2026. Don’t plan around them.
When NordVPN’s Deal Tends to Run
Press reports place NordVPN’s offers in October in 2024, 2025 and 2026. Only the 2024 and 2025 end dates are known, both in December. No 2026 end date is confirmed. Tom’s Guide described buying extra time with the same email in 2025; check whether your account can use the current offer before relying on that advice.
Total Adblock: No Sale Visible Yet
Total Adblock shows no sale or Black Friday banner on its public pages as of October 27. The current Plus plan renews at $99/year.
We couldn’t see the first-year price. Total Adblock says introductory pricing “may be available” to first-time customers. Our partner link showed no price and led to signup, which we didn’t complete. Check the full first-term charge and the $99 annual Plus renewal before paying.
Plus covers 4 devices. Total Adblock’s own footnotes say not all ads may be blocked on every site, and YouTube blocking may vary depending on whether you use a browser or an app. If YouTube is the reason you’re buying, read how Total Adblock handles YouTube ads first.
The terms matter more than the banner. Any first-term discount applies once, then the plan renews at the standard price. To stop renewal, cancel at least 1 day before the billing cycle ends. Annual and biannual plans get a 30-day refund window, while monthly, quarterly and add-on plans get 14 days. You have to fully terminate the subscription to get a refund, and your access ends immediately once it’s approved.
What Happened to the 2025 Total Adblock Deal?
Our 2025 page quoted 80% off and $19 for the first year. We couldn’t find a vendor or independent source confirming that, so we won’t repeat it as a past price. We found no source at all for a 2024 deal. With no confirmed past dates, there’s no timing pattern to share. A press headline about an early TotalAV Black Friday deal is about the antivirus, not Total Adblock.
Bought in 2025? Check your renewal amount. Total Adblock lists its “Adblock Premium (2025 – 2026)” plan at $129/year on renewal. We think that’s the plan 2025 deal buyers hold, but we haven’t confirmed it. For the free tier and what it leaves out, see whether Total Adblock is free.
Total Cost: Upfront Price Plus Renewal
The subscription offers renew automatically unless you cancel. AdGuard’s lifetime licenses have no subscription renewal, and AdGuard VPN licenses paid for with crypto don’t auto-renew.
Here’s what that looks like on the plans we could price. These totals leave out tax and assume renewal prices don’t change.
- AdGuard Personal: $17.93 now, then $29.88/year. Two years cost $47.81.
- Surfshark Starter: $67.23 for 27 months, then $79/year. The first 39 months cost $146.23.
- Surfshark One: $67.23 for 27 months, then $99/year. The first 39 months cost $166.23.
- Total Adblock Plus: first-year price unknown, then $99/year.
- NordVPN: 2026 renewal prices not verified.
Put the renewal date in your calendar and review the charge a week before it.
A Refund Isn’t a Free Trial
Every refund window on this page works the same way. You pay the full upfront price first, then ask for your money back.
Surfshark allows one refund per service on the initial purchase only. Renewals, prepaid or gift-card purchases, anonymous Dedicated IP and Alternative ID purchases are excluded. Its policy accepts reseller purchases only through Paddle, Google Play or Cleverbridge. NordVPN’s guarantee covers only the initial subscription; Apple and other resellers handle their own refunds. AdGuard VPN’s monthly plans aren’t refundable. Total Adblock cuts your access as soon as it approves a refund.
Free Options If You Don’t Want to Buy Anything
You don’t need a Black Friday deal to block ads in a browser. These cost nothing.
- AdGuard Browser Extension: free, no registration, and works in Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge and Yandex Browser. It’s an extension, not the system-wide app the paid license covers. Our AdGuard extension review covers setup.
- uBlock Origin Lite: where Chrome users are pointed now that uBlock Origin was removed from the Chrome Web Store on August 31, 2026. See uBO Lite vs AdGuard.
- uBlock Origin on Firefox: free, open source, no donations sought, and still on Firefox Add-ons for desktop and Android. More in does uBlock Origin work on Firefox.
- Proton VPN Free: 1 device with no data or speed limits and no ads. Its NetShield ad blocker is a paid feature.
- AdGuard VPN Free: 3 GB a month on 2 devices. After that, the speed drops and streaming stops working.
For one browser, the free options get the job done. Paying makes sense when you want blocking inside apps too, or a VPN on more than one device.
